POSTPONED: A Day in the Sacred: Celebrating the Legacy of Ram Dass

March 7 @ 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Hi friends, due to unforseen circumstances, this event has been postponed. We will make an announcement when it has been rescheduled, thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you later this year at Soka!

Join us for an extraordinary day honoring Ram Dass’s life, teachings, and continued legacy. This special fundraiser for the Love Serve Remember Foundation brings together beloved teachers, music, and ceremony at one of Southern California’s most stunning venues.

From afternoon storytelling to evening ceremony, this full-day immersion invites you to walk each other home through the wisdom Ram Dass shared with the world.

What Awaits You:

1:30pm – Stories from India Raghu Markus, Parvati Markus, Sunanda Markus, RamDev (Dale Borglum), and other original devotees share intimate stories from their transformative time in India—tales of miracles, surrender, and the boundless love that changed everything.

3:00pm – Live Mindrolling Podcast: Raghu Markus and RamDev continue the conversation in real-time, bringing the beloved Mindrolling experience to life with spontaneity, humor, and heart.

4:00pm – Kirtan with Govind Das & Jacquelyn: Let the bhakti flow. Govind Das, Jacquelyn and their band lead us in sacred chant, opening our hearts through the ancient practice of kirtan – singing the names that remind us we’re already home.

7:00pm – Brilliant Disguise – The Samadhi Of KC Tewari Film Screening: Journey deeper with a special screening celebrating the devotees and teachers who followed Ram Dass to India and were mentored by one of Maharaji’s closest devotees.

8:30pm – East Forest Ram Dass Ceremony: The evening culminates in a transcendent musical ceremony as East Forest performs live on Soka’s classical grand piano. This immersive sonic journey weaves East Forest’s cinematic soundscapes with Ram Dass’s teachings, offering a guided meditation through music, ambient electronics, live improvisation, and Ram Dass’s own voice. Settle in and let the sound bathe you in presence, consciousness, and communal connection.
